Luxury hotel within walk to the old Town. We enjoyed our stay there very much. We are very lucky that our room was upgraded with our hotel membership. The room, front desk and the breakfast service is top notch. The room is clean, spacious and well equipped. The servers in the restaurant are well trained and professional. All facilities are very well maintained. This hotel is highly regarded hotel as you can tell from their guests including royalty and celebrities. Highly recommended.

This year I can spend the New Year with my friend at your place. The gala dinner was extremely delicate and your service was simply top. The great location with the view of the old town is phenomenal. We look forward to coming back at the end of the year and hope you can all enjoy your well-deserved vacation! Enjoyed a week long stay at the Excelsior. A lovely hotel with spectacular views of the sea and the old town. Our stay started off with a few small issues, but these were dealt with swiftly and the staff and management seemed genuinely interested in ensuring we had a good stay. Breakfast was nice - plenty of fresh fruit, savoury items, hot buffet (veg and meat items separated), gluten free station, pastries and cakes. Cooked breakfast also available. Would have been nice to see more local products like fig jam and a better variety of jams etc. We were treated to a dinner in Sensus (thank you Marco!) a fine dining restaurant within the hotel and the food was exceptional. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. My reason for four stars is that the hotel seems more like a great four star than a five star.
