If you’re expecting a room with a view, don’t come here. We had a room with no windows, which was poorly ventilated and definitely not worth more than 1 star. Staff at reception were indifferent and didn’t do any effort to help (e.g. change of rooms in a hotel that was half-empty anyway). Breakfast was bad quality too - not up to the standard at all that you expect from a basic hotel offering.

This place is not a 4 star hotel, no idea how they got that rating. 4th floor stank of cigarettes, receptionist didn't believe me...rooms are very weird shapes with no flow to them, not enough mirrors or storage, just feels very dark inside. Breakfast is basic but does the job. It's clean but nothing feels premium. One of the worst beds we have ever slept on too, thin squeaky uncomfortable mattresses. The locked door to an adjoining room may as well have been wide open as we could hear every word, movement and "activity" our neighbours made, horrible night's sleep. Free parking is pretty good. Don't bother with this place.

A hotel for basic amenities. .Rooms are small , need upgrade from rooms, bedding, furniture , fridge ect. Situated 40mins out of town . Closest transport is 7 mins walk to the tram and 20 mins walk to the nearest and only store. Hotel needs a fresh touch to it's overall performance and decor.

If I could give this less than 1 star I would. I had a stay for 2 nights for work and when I checked into my room found ants and bed bugs on the floor. After notifying reception they said they only had 1 other room available to move me too. After checking this room there were no obvious signs of any bugs so I decided to move to it. However when I was watching a film on my laptop at night I saw a bed bug crawling across my keyboard so snapped a pic. After an uncomfortable night with little sleep I checked out in the morning and asked for a refund. The receptionist had little interest in being helpful but said she couldn't authorise the refund but gave me an email for someone higher up. Despite sending photographic evidence of the bed bugs they denied there was any in the room and refused my refund for the night I didn't stay. Absolutely pathetic service and the lift sounds like it's ready to give in too. I moved to the Silken Al Andulas and thoroughly recommend it rather than the shambles at the Exe Isla Cartuja.
