The hotel was nice enough. Tourists spots were very walkable from it but there were also taxis available nearby when needed. There was a certain air of shabbiness when you looked close enough (peeling and damaged baseboards in the hallways and in the room around the bathroom cabinets) but overall it was okay. My two biggest complaints were the lack of insulation between rooms and the strange smell (like rotten eggs) that came from the toilet in our bathroom. On the first night, the gentleman next door serenaded us to sleep with his loud snoring and at other times talking from guests in opposite rooms. Staff at reception were helpful and polite.

I highly recommend this hotel. Comfortable beds, excellent location near the River and city. Lovely staff. The foyer restaurant is fine, but cold once the sun sets, bring your coat. Breakfast buffet is excellent, gf options included, although sometimes still frozen.

Great rooms, but no sound insulation in between. Excellent buffet breakfast. Walking distance to all main attractions. Helpful staff.

I chose this hotel for convenience, it has a rooftop pool and bar and a convenient location. The reception staff on arrival were super efficient and welcoming and the main hall is big and spacious but my room smelled of sweaty feet, I think someone had just checked out. There’s no tea/coffee making facilities in the room so be aware, however there’s lots of nearby places. I had breakfast a couple of times at the hotel, there was a huge choice though a little pricey. Staff again very helpful and also an enjoyed a dinner in the restaurant The hotel is conveniently situated, it is close to the bus station however the area itself is noisy. There’s also parking available. If you are a cinema goer then you are spoiled for choice there’s a multi language cinema opposite and another behind the hotel along with a large supermarket. The main atttactions are 15 mins walk and there’s plenty of public transport. The pool, though small has plenty of sun loungers with only a few in shade, towels provided. It had great views and I used it earlier in the day when it was quiet and there’s a bar serving food. I didn’t have time to use the gym but it looked well equipped. The only negative thing I’d say is the room is not as glamorous as the rest of the hotel but I only booked a basic room so if that’s important to you go for the superior one. For me it was fine.
