We stayed at the hotel using a gift bon, the stay was so nice and it made me think I want to come back here for another time. From the entrance to the room, the interiors are consistent and I should use the word "the hidden pearls" to describe my review for the hotel. Unfortunately, Kipdorp has been on a major construction so you come across not-so-safe construction objects to get to/from the hotel while walking. But my 5stars for location is assuming when the construction work doesn't exist anymore. The cathedral is just at the back of the hotel. (A little exaggeration, but really a top location)

A great hotel with a beautiful restaurant. Given the quality you get, creativity and a Michelin star, you will want to come prepared, as it won’t be cheap. Their wine selection, excellent food, and the not-overly formal atmosphere make this a special place. Location is also great.

Very nice rooms. Good central location except for the construction of a new tramline down the street outside. Very nice breakfast with eggs cooked to order

After checking out and leaving the city (Antwerp, Belgium), I was horrified to find that my credit card was _double-charged_. I have emailed Hotel Franq about the situation and still awaiting their response in a state of helpless waiting, frustration and confusion. My family and I are appalled that such activity could be perpetrated by a supposedly prestigious hotel chain. I am a frequent traveler over the past 20 years and have stayed in numerous hotel chains in the world including the Four Seasons, Marriott and Hilton. This is the first time I have stayed in Hotel Franq, and this is the first time I have experienced a double-charge incident on my credit card.

I booked a table in the restaurant and a hotel room. It was really nice to take the elevator to your room after a long and nice dinner. Taste explosions guaranteed and Michelin-worthy. We also enjoyed the wine pairing menu. However I was disappointed by the size of the hotel room. It was very small and hard to move around! Especially if you have a suitcase.
