This is a beautiful family-owned hotel that is run in a very personal manner. Attention is paid to every detail and their effort to make it perfect is evident everywhere! The public spaces - bar, sitting room, outdoor areas are especially nice. Like the touch of having a candy bowl in the rooms! 10 minute walk from the train - roller bags are tricky on the cobblestones. Nice location next to sites and walking distance to the square. We will stay here again!

What can I say- amazing stay! We booked an executive suite and had unforgettable romantic time! Located in the center of everything- like 5 minutes walking distance to all attractions. I am so happy I booked it! The building is historic/old and we could feel a bit of a smell in the room, but it was not a big issue. Breakfast was outstanding! Can’t forget raspberry cake- wish I got a recipe🥰 Thank you!

Hotel De Castillion was one of the highlights of our trip to Belgium and the Netherlands. Beginning with the taxi driver, who when he pulled up to the hotel, commented "ah, right in the center!". So we knew before we stepped into the hotel that we had made a good choice. Our next confirmation was at reception. A very refined gentleman checked us in, comfortably seating us at his desk, and treating us with gracious respect. He later provided us with excellent recommendations on where to have dinner-two nights in a row. The room itself was lovely (109), with a beautiful view of the steeple of Our Lady of Bruges church from he window. The mattress was plush with soft sheets, the decoration of the room lovely. Our room had double sinks, a separate toilet room, and separate shower room. The walking space in the room was not generous (I believe it came under the "Classic Room" category, so if you want more walking room you would need to book a category or two up from what we chose. I believe this was all that was available when we made the arrangements). The breakfast was amazing-situated in a beautiful lower section of this ancient hotel. The man in charge of the breakfast took care of every detail. I would recommend including the breakfast in any reservation. Everything about this hotel was first class.

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend and were delighted with our stay at Hotel De Castillion. The room was spacious and comfortable with beautiful features. The breakfast selection also was perfect. We were grateful for the attentive service at the hotel. Front desk pointed out some great spots and even suggested a bike ride to a nearby town, which was the highlight of our trip. We also had the most delicious hot chocolate made by a staff member at reception which we enjoyed in their art deco inspired saloon. Would highly recommend this for a couples stay in Brugge!
