The grounds of the hotel beautiful but service slow and unfortunately employees didn't seem to know the hotel , menus or anything well. Someone worked at the pool bar who didn't know how to make 3 of the drinks on the menu and our waiter for dinner not familiar with the food. Ran out of water for shower and faucet in room x2 and TV didn't work even after someone came and tried to fix. Lots of beautiful birds and flowers and laundry service reasonable. The people who cleaned our room were excellent! So overall a decent but not inspired stay.

Most people would not notice that the glasses were semi rinsed and still smelled of the beer we drank the evening before in them and the towels I put on the floor to be exchanged were just folded and put back on the racks. This place is filthy. Far from town and the service was awful-the server was busy taking shots before making sure my parents had water. The only reason I’m not taking the time to alert others is because the bartender was awesome. Yobani you are the best, but the hotel you work in is disgusting. The showers are filthy as are the rooms and service of them. Avoid! There are many lovely choices in the area that will not ruin your CR experience! Also, the walkway is slippery when wet which is a large part of the weather here. My mother and friend both had nasty falls here. Please renovate.

We stayed here for 3 nights, booked by Costa Rica Escapes. The hotel has a wonderful view of Arenal, good air conditioning, and an excellent swim up bar with the talented and fun bartender Luis!! All of the staff were kind and attentive. They even made us each a to-go breakfasts on our last day when we left at 5:30, before breakfast started. The food was always good and was easy to navigate for someone with a nut allergy in our party. We also saw so many animals while staying there - but thankfully none in our room!

We stayed at this beautiful hotel during our honeymoon! It was PERFECT! Gorgeous views of the volcano! Our suite was spacious and comfortable. Super nice to have a private hot tub on our back porch. Loved the plants growing in the shower! The pool bar was super fun and Bartender Louie took such good care of us! Manuel, the general manager, took us on an awesome night frog walk and even found a red-eyed tree frog! 100% recommend!

A very solid hotel to stay at! We stayed at the beginning of October 2023 so it was very quiet. The rainy season weather held up for us with sun during the day & some rain showers in the afternoon. Pros: - A fantastic view of the Arenal Volcano - the grounds were beautiful - Staff was very friendly especially bartender Luis!! - Room was clean - Close proximity to downtown Arenal, volcano hike and canyoning tours - the pool bar has a different menu than the restaurant so it was a nice change up Cons (no major ones): - hot water didn’t work at first but they quickly fixed it - our AC was not 100% working so it was a little hot during the night - the jets in the outdoor jacuzzi were not working Overall, a great place to stay at! Just a couple of things that could be improved.
