An elegant hotel with such a friendly staff. The location is excellent, just a 15-minute walk from any of Tirana's tourist attractions. Close to bld. Zogu, you can enjoy many restaurants and cafes in the area, and the bus to the airport stops 300 m from the hotel. Also, from the 12th floor you have a fantastic view of the central area.

A great location for those who prefer to walk or take public transit. We were able to access restaurants, pharmacies, grocery stores, etc. all within a few block radius. Easy to walk to tourist attractions and to explore the area. We felt comfortable walking everywhere in this area. The hotel rooms were clean. We were on the city street side and didn’t have much noise. Very heavy drapes helped keep light and noise out. There was construction across the way and as I was dressing I did notice a security guard on a Sunday morning eating his breakfast, so quickly pulled the drapes! 🤗 The bathroom had a shower only but was clean and bright. Not much lighting in the bedroom area, but enough to see and the windows did bring in light if you opened the drapes. The lobby was nice and the breakfast satisfied especially if you like sweets. We are not sweet eaters but still found the selection adequate to meet our specific tastes. We did not really use the services, so will remain neutral in commenting.

The hotel is in an excellent central location. The room is tidy and bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is also good. However, the personnel at the reception desk badly need proper training on guest relations. Upon arrival around 12 noon, I was greeted unprofessionally with: "Are you checking in? You arrived too early!" The standard should have been: "Welcome to Hotel Opera! My name is ***. How may I help you?.... I'm afraid that your room might not be ready yet, but we shall try our best to see what we can do." When I left upon check out, the same lady just said "bye". My suggestion would be: "Thank you very much for staying with us and we look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Have a safe journey!". It's a pity that such a nice hotel seems to neglect choosing the right personnel who are truly professional in the hospitality industry.
