Hot tub was the main reason we book and it was out of order which was not communicated to guests before hand (would have booked elsewhere) the room was pretty dirty and also the bed was rock hard, sheets very rough and pillows were tiny and uncomfortable. Was pretty disappointed, we were super excited to finally get a romantic weekend away, but the place fell short of our expectations based on how it is advertised

Room was nice, clean and spacious. The hotel has a rustic feel to it. The breakfast could be improved with adding scrambled egg and better quality of bread. Overall a good place and we would like to come back.

I don't want to sound mean, but how this hotel says it is 4-stars is beyond me. this is more like a 2 star stay. I am incredibly dissatisfied with this hotel. First, there were flies/gnats in the bathroom and living room area. the bath tub was really dirty when i got there, and on top of that, there was no hot water coming out of the hot tub. it was barely even warm. The fridge looks like its from the 1930's, and on top of that, they were charing $3.50 for a small can of soda or a water bottle? are you kidding me? I spent $1000 on this stay and what should have been a 4 star hotel felt more like a Motel 6 for me. I really don't know who to complain too about false advertisement but this hotel should not be a 4-star stay based on my experience. it is old and beat down and the rooms are not maintained very well. I wish I could get a refund because it was a bad stay

Stayed a few nights for a beach getaway. Rooms were nice with comfy beds, but the tiniest pillows I've ever seen. If your room does not face the street, the view from your balcony is not the greatest. Is not horrible though. We received great service from everyone during our stay. Staff were genuinely happy and eager to help. Because the hotel is so close to a tourist attraction, they charge $22 a night to park your car in the covered garage. Kinda steep, but you're very near Cannery row and the aquarium. There was not a working hot tub when we were there, but it is tiny anyways. Fits 2 1/2 comfortably. Ice is available only through room service. But they are quick to deliver. I would stay here again.

I recently stayed at Hotel Pacific due to a business trip and its proximity to the Monterey Convention Center, but I will definitely be going back with my husband! I was surprised to find that the room had a fireplace, large bathroom, sitting areas, and a large enclosed outdoor patio. My room faced the courtyard, and I loved the sound of the water fountain. It has so much more character than a standard hotel we've all been in a hundred times. My car remained parked in the underground parking garage the entire time as I walked everywhere I wanted to go. Highly recommend!
