We recently had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Rival that truly exceeded all expectations. The decor was simply inviting, exuding an art deco cool vibe that added to the experience. The lively atmosphere at the Watson’s bar created a vibrant atmosphere, servicing as a welcoming spot for both guests and locals alike. Additionally, the culinary offerings from the Taverna were truly exceptional, adding to the overall dining experience at the hotel. All dietary requests were never a problem. Cleanliness was top notch, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. The staff, however, were the highlight of this exceptional experience. Their welcoming demeanour and deep knowledge of the local area instantly made us feel at home. They offered fantastic recommendations and truly showed their love of Sweden, which made our stay even more special. Moreover, the hotel’s location could not be better suited. It’s conveniently located close to cultural sites, allowing for immersive explorations, and within walking distance of vibrant bars, restaurants and charming boutique shops. Without hesitation, we highly recommend staying at this remarkable hotel Rival for unforgettable experience in Sweden.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Hotel Rival. The character and history of the building added to the atmosphere. Breakfast was great, I could find something new and delicious every day and the staff were very kind. It was very conveniently located where I could walk to various attractions in the city. Had a great offering of restaurants in and around the hotel. I would highly recommend Hotel Rival to anyone visiting Stockholm.

AMAZING experience! A particular shout out to Michelle at the front desk - she was so incredibly knowledgeable and attentive that I thought she was the general manager of the hotel. I literally don't have any complaints about the hotel. The room was stylish, and I particularly loved the luxurious bathtub and cute private patio. The bar had great drinks and I enjoyed the restaurant as well (I only had dessert there but regretted not having dinner there as well). We also really enjoyed the neighborhood/location. Most of all, the service was spectacular. If I have the opportunity to return to Stockholm, this would be my pick of hotel!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this elegant and eclectic boutique hotel in a fun neighborhood. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful, room was quiet (we upgraded for a nominal fee and faced an inner courtyard, and also had access to a coffee station on our floor) with many thoughtful touches. Bed was very comfortable. Really appreciated the choice of different size pillow! Breakfast was good. Would stay here again any time, and recommend very highly.
