Sept 2023 Room - Dated. Needs an uplift. Toilet facility is as dated. Buffet - Normal local specialties. Minimal servings of seafood which is disappointing. Buffet diner is restricted from 0530 pm to 7 pm. Have not reviewed the Onsen.

The building and its hot spring area are old but maintained in a good shape. The buffet is in an average performance. Disappointed with the room I have which is totally completely smoked room, all my luggage and clothes were also contaminated. The hotel explained all the rooms they have are the same, smoking room(smells the same). So they've tried their best to bring me an air purifier. Nothing else they can help me to change to a less gross smell room.

The room had windows in two directions, giving a panoramic view. And since it was on the 9th floor, I could see more fantastic views. There was a moderate amount of snow piled up on the stream in front of the hotel, and the view of the direction of water flow was also very fantastic. The food was not impressive but it was nice to meet the Hokkaido menu. The big bath was so satisfying that I went there several times a day. The view of the stream from outdoor bath was quite beautiful. One thing that was unfortunate was the smell of cigarettes in the room.

The hotel is quite large compared to the other traditional hot spring hotel. The room is large, with Japanese tatami sitting area and western style bed. The room is very tidy and neat. The breakfast and dinner is buffet style, with lots variety from sashimi, tempura, noodles, curry .. etc. and they are all very fresh and delicious too. The onsen is large, includes both indoor and outdoor pool. Though there are group tours living here, but it is not too crowded. Overall this hotel is quite good.
