For the price I expected much more from this hotel. We got to the hotel maybe 30 minutes before check in and they allowed us to check in early which was nice. The room was lacking. The cleanliness was not the best. When we opened the door to the room, we were hit in the face with an overwhelming terrible smell. It smelled like an armpit or like somebody had spilled their bowl of curry all over and then it never got properly cleaned up. The smell was very strong and I cannot understate this. I immediately pulled out my phone and started searching reviews for this same issue and sure enough there are multiple reviews citing this problem. I'm not sure how I missed them while researching. Thankfully in another review I read that there is a small latch on the bottom of each window that when open lets air into the room. For our first couple days in the room we had the latch open the entire time and by the third day it started to smell a bit better after being aired out. This issue alone makes it that I would never ever recommend this hotel or stay there again. Other than the smell, the floors were not sufficiently cleaned. There were small crumbs and things that were visible. We also found a spider crawling on our luggage. The bathroom was small and the toilet was the worst toilet we had had at a hotel during our 2 weeks in Japan. The shower pressure wasn't good and the sprayers needed a cleaning as the water was shooting in multiple directions it wasn't supposed to because of likely buildup in the nozzle. It was also very noisy at nighttime. The good things: the location was great and so close to the train station. Tons of shopping nearby and nice restaurants. Overall I was disappointed that for a hotel at this price and with a great star rating had so much wrong with it. There are plenty of hotels to stay at in Tokyo. Don't choose this one.

The location is very strategic and is only 7 minutes walk to central Ginza. Would definitely stay here if you want to do shopping. The room is clean and modern. It is quite small though, we didn’t have enough space to open our suitcases. Staff are friendly and helpful!

Quite a grand yet small hotel in ginza. Room is well equiped and decorated. Digital control of the room is quite impressive. The breakfast at the top of the building was the best meal in my trip.

I love staying here. It is close to Ginza six and it's in the shopping area. The train station is just right on the corner. The breakfast has limited choices but is outstanding. Just one thing I hate, each room has people odors. They should have had a room cleaner machine. I tried to spray the room, but still it did not work. So I have to open the door for a while to make it go. The cupboard also stinks. The toilet stinks when you flush. This place is also expensive, maybe because of its location.

Pros: - Great location - Sufficient space for its price - Staff were mannerful (Some were rude!) - The in-room Nespresso machine Cons: I came one day late to join my girlfriend and her family. As i arrived alone to check in, I was greated with one of the receptionist who treated me rudely as the room booking was not under my name but under my girlfriends'. Despite my gf already informing them I would arrive that day, they were very condenscending towards me. And didnt try to resolve the issue but just persisted being rude. As I entered my room, there was a very bad odor coming out of the carpet, the room smelled very fishy like weeks old of foot odor/ armpit odor. While l was writing this review I noticed I was not the only one who had this issue. The bathroom shower head had some build up mold so the water would just spray in all directions. And during nighttime, there were plenty of rats on the sidewalk of the hotel which isnt necessarily their fault but it was not a comfortable experience. Overall, for the price I would expect much more from the service and cleanliness of this hotel. I would not reccomend anyone to come stay here as there are plenty of better options for the price. I hope the hotel would make a change soon...
