We stayed at Hotel Villas Vilma 4 years ago and were apprehensive about coming back as we didn’t want to spoil our memories from before. We needn’t have worried though as it’s still exactly as it was, with the same high standards and helpful staff. Amazing amount of bird species visit here and most can be viewed from each of the bungalow verandas, overlooking the garden. This time the cloud wasn’t playing ball but the view of the volcano is excellent when not covered by cloud. We have stayed in more expensive accommodations than here but the standard is as good as it gets, in my opinion. If you want to relax and watch the birds or use it as a base for exploring the area, I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at Hotel Villas Vilma. Matt (from England)

I've stayed with Villas Vilma 3 times, over the past 2 years, and I can't wait to stay again. Amazing view of the volcano, from the private front porch of the villas, and from the pool & jacuzzi! The jacuzzi was great for the rainy days, so good!! Very, very clean. Super comfortable beds. Walkable, close to shops & restaurants, but felt totally safe behind the gate. Secure parking. Safe in room added to the feeling of security:) The hosts are friendly and helpful, in Spanish & English. They have all kinds of local knowledge to share. Beautiful gardens, and soooo many birds! Fast wifi in the rooms and pool area. I'll be back!

We loved our stay! Lovely volcano view from the pool and ALMOST the room, a plant is in the way, but it’s okay. Aircon and hot water is good and very helpful staff. Beautiful gardens with hummingbirds. The soda across the road is also great. We recommend!
