Excellent hotel in the city centre, very near to bus and tram station. Very clean, safe and comfortable. Staff is polite, ready to help, always kind. Very rich breakfast with many fresh salty and sweet products. Absolutely recommended!

I really liked the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, and you get free coffee 24 hours. My only problem was, that there was no air conditioning. As I was there, it was really hot and although there was a fan in the room, it didn't help at all.

Be careful when you book a room in this hotel, I had the surprise to discover that the room that had been booked for me was a a tiny single bed room, I couldn't even fit in the bed, the room was on the ground floor and it was nearly impossible to open the windows ,and cherry on the cake no AC ! When I informed the reception that I wanted to change my room they toled me that they were fully booked, I had to look for an other hotel at 10 p.m and when I wanted to leave the hotel I had nevertheless to pay 150 CHF for a room in which I've spent less then 5 minutes. One of the worst services that I've seen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Wettstein. All hotel staff had a warm and helpful attitude (with nice extra touches such as offering some water to take with us at check-out), and the room was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of choices from the breakfast buffet, with additional seating in the pleasant courtyard garden. The location is great, too - it took us only a few minutes to get to the Museum Tinguely we wanted to visit, and the city centre is easily accessible on foot or by public transport as well. The parking under the hotel was very convenient and easy to use (do book ahead as spaces are limited). We will definitely book here again.
