This place is really not great. Worn down, not comfortable. Here are some photos of the gym which are basically representative of what the hotel feels like. An empty cup dispenser with no water anywhere and the only “towel” in the towel bin is a ripped bathmat. Come on Hyatt, you can do better. There are many, many places to stay in this area and I’m not coming back to this one.

I booked a 2 night stay and only ended up staying one night due to bugs in the room. I did enjoy the pool with my children as it was relatively clean and empty. The staff was not very knowledgable or attentive as no one has been able to explain what charges were on my card, nor did they seem to care. I currently have an unexplainable $600 hold on my card (which happened in addition to my regular charge and incidental hold). When visiting the bar/lounge area at night, I was charged both on my debit card as well as billed to my room instead of just the debit card charge as requested. The staff that night seemed to be more concerned with their phone and joking off with one another instead of helping the customers.

No complaints at all. Everything was clean (I inspect every room to make sure all is working appropriately before settling in). Water pressure, hot water in shower, well working sink, comfortable bed, TV worked well, fridge worked well. All outlets and lights worked. Wasn't able to catch breakfast or the bar. Gym well equipped. Didn't get a chance to utilize the indoor pool but at glance, looked clean. Hallways didn't have a smell, could use more lighting but that's a personal preference. Elevator worked fine. I felt safe. Great location, ducked off away from all the busy highways but close enough to KOP. I have 0 complaints. Will absolutely return again.

Floyd works at the front desk and he was assisting me with check in before I even got to the hotel! Due to my own scheduling error I needed to check in early and he was patient with me when I called a few times to see if there was a room available. He was able to get me a room near the stairwell for easy outdoor access for me and my dog. He went above and beyond when I needed some extra toiletries and had them arrive to my room in a matter of minutes. He has an easy going yet confident air about him that put me at ease. Floyd is the reason I recommend this location and this will be the hotel I stay at next time I’m in the area.

I contacted Hyatt a month in advance before my stay and ask to have a jointed room or two rooms side by side together since I couldn’t book two rooms together on the website and the customer service agent indicated that she will make a note of my request and forwarded my request to my local Hyatt hotel that I booked from. The week before my arrival, I contacted my local Hyatt Hotel to verify that they recieved the special request from customer service department and they informed me that it wouldn’t be an issue upon arrival. Everything will be jointly connected as requested. On the day of my arrival, While I was checking in at The front desk, the associate informed me that the only two rooms was available for the type of rooms that I requested, were located on different floors. I was really upset because I requested for a side by side room over a month ago. The front desk associate indicated that he can give me a smaller room and regular size room on the same Floor but they are not next to each other. I only took the rooms because I was giving my daughter a birthday party because she never experienced being in a hotel before and she wanted to try something new. This was the worst experience ever. The rooms was not clean, the chair was broken, Bugs was obeserve crawling on the walls. The Asst. Manager Lawrence was very rude and mean. He knocked on my room door and told me and my daughter he was going to evict us because we was singing happy birthday to her to loud. He claimed it was a noise disturbance. He really upset my daughter and made her cry. I paid over $500 to stay here and to be treated this bad was horrible. I will not be returning and will be filing a complaint with Hyatt corporation.
