This is not a B&B or a hotel. No staff, ever. hall and "reception desk filled with laundry. Relentless emails and phone calls about emailing my passport ahead of our arrival. I scheduled my arrival time to meet their claimed operating times of 2pm to 8pm. They emailed me instructions to unlock the building, then unlock the so called hotel, and then unlock the box containing my room key. I returned from sight seeing to find the room safe open with the lock bars out, nothing was taken but I was never asked for my passport again. The location was great but there are better and legitimate places to stay nearby. Also two difficult flight of stairs to lug your bags up.

A tricky place to find and get into unless you read your emails properly, and the building is discreet to the point of anonymity. But our room (Rio) was lovely! Clean and compact with a great little en suite bathroom. And coming back every evening... Exactly like we were just moving in for the first night. So good. Would definitely visit again!

Last minute reservation for this so-called "standard" room. For a price barely lower than the other rooms, we spent our four days in a rather well renovated room but with almost no daylight. A window overlooks a small courtyard about 3 meters wide, dotted with large pipes which emit hot air and nauseating odors. Window opening should therefore be avoided. It would be honest to indicate this when booking and offer this room at a very reduced price. Furthermore, you have to wait until you are there to find out the access conditions. It would be more reassuring for travelers to have them a little before.
