The triple room we got had the weirdest mirror arrangement! The small bathroom had a glass door that's not fully blinded, and there were mirrors right across it and another mirror that exposed everything the moment the door was opened. The room itself was small, leaving barely enough space to open a suitcase. There's a tram stop only a few steps away from the hostel - it was convenient to get to the city center or the train station. They charged us extra for the city pass although it’s supposed to be free. There were separate breakfast areas for red rooms and blue rooms - we stayed in a budget one, so we had limited choices.

I was there for one night for a conference. The rooms are clean and comfortable! It is easy to reach and there are some good restaurants, like Rosengarten in walking distance

Stayed here for one night. Close to the highway with parking on site. In front of the hotel is a tram stop and with the pass for the public transport you receive you can easily start exploring the beautiful city of Bern. The room is simple and small, has no frills but it's a budget hotel so I didn't expect those frills anyway. It has everything you need: a bed, shower and a toilet. TV in the room. No mini-fridge but again, it's a budget hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again. 1 "warning" though, the shower is IN the room. If you're traveling with friends or even colleagues this would/could be an issue.

Comfortable, reliabe, friendly. The Ibis Bern Expo takes its place among the multitude of reliable, comfortable Ibis Business hotels. The rooms are well equipped, the beds are super comfortable and make for an excellent night's sleep. The bathroom-compartment is compact and equipped with all the necessities. Employees are friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to provide what they can. Pricing is okay. The hotel is ideally situated at a junction for public transport, so you can easily get places. What would be useful are: More and better rails to hang a used towel from. And Despite the fact that the bathroom is well-lit, doing your makeup is a pain. The light kind of blinds you. The noise-to-air ratio of the hairdryers is just disgraceful. Those could really use an upgrade. Finally, the rooms are carpeted. I find myself a little sensitive to dust, a hardwood floor would be so much more hygienic. Cannot say anything about breakfast.
