I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at ibis Styles Basel City! I was there for 5 nights and enjoyed the room that I had as well as the location. I only had the free breakfast on two of the mornings that I was there because of my schedule but really like the offerings that were available. There was a nice selection to choose from with many varieties of food offered to appease everyone. The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating whenever I had a request or question for them. The bar was nice as well. Everything in my room worked great although not a lot of space to unpack a suitcase in the room that I had, small closet and cabinet only, no drawers. Happy I picked to stay here and would gladly do so again when I get the chance to return to Basel. Room was nicely cleaned on the days I took the do not disturb sign down. Thanks to all for the great stay!

We were pleasantly surprised by the courtesy and friendliness of the reception and bar staff. The rooms are neat and comfortable, the hotel in general gives the impression of being clean and well-kept. We would love to come back here again.

While my stay was acceptable, I believe the pricing was somewhat disproportionate to the overall experience. Positive aspects: The staff demonstrated friendliness and provided a welcoming atmosphere. The inclusion of breakfast as part of the amenities was a positive aspect. Negative aspects: The hotel's proximity to the train station resulted in audible train sounds within the room, which proved disruptive, particularly during sleep. The pillows provided were not conducive to a comfortable rest. Essential items, such as toothpaste, were notably absent from the room, adding to the inconvenience.
