Really good. Summary: 1. I arrived earlier than check in time and my room was ready and I was given the key. 2. I was also met with an ask at reception if I wanted a coffee. I did, and the lady checking me in made me a fresh decaffeinated coffee - perfect on a cold December morning. 3. Breakfast was tasty and a good buffet selection and it is served from 6am, so worked with early meetings in Bern. The atmosphere was quiet and calm (I need that in the morning...!) and the staff there were effective. 4. I checked out early for an early morning meeting. All easy. My meeting finished early, so I returned to the hotel to see if I could get changed at the hotel before heading off. The lady at reception re-issued my room key and I was able to use the room to get changed and also to have another coffee in the reception/bar area. This was really useful. 5. The room rate also included a ticket valid for public transport in Bern - all trams and buses - which was great. I travel to Bern regularly for work and I will definitely stay at the Ibis Styles Bern City.

We are a family of 3 who stayed for 3 nights. In terms of the room we were not satisfied at all. The room was weird shaped and dark and small. There was no space to move around. The staff were really good. Specifically the gentlemen who did the check in and check out. They were very courteous, helpful and informative. In terms of food, the taste and quality was good. But it was the same items for all the 3 days .

Bus and tram stop was very close. Good selection of places to eat and a grocery store close by too. 15 min walk from train station or quick bus ride. Staff was very accommodating and nice. Room was small. It was quiet too. Good breakfast with great options

I had a satisfactory experience at ibis styles Bern. The room was nicely designed but the air-conditioning would not stay off and meant the room was very cold. I asked for help from the reception the gentleman was helpful and tried his best but he could only turn the system off and not turn heating on. The breakfast needs more vegan options! On online reviews I saw the mention of vegan sausages and other options but this was not present during my stay. The location of the hotel is very convenient and easy to access.
