Totally enjoyed our stay! The staff was amazing and the food was delicious. My wife totally enjoyed the spa. Only reason I removed a star for service was due to multiple calls required to get new towels. Should be an easy request.

At an upscale hotel I always anticipate an uppity attitude among the staff. I was pleasantly surprised to find the opposite here. Everyone was friendly, accommodating, and willing to go above and beyond to make our stay outstanding. Add to that the gorgeous rooms, phenomenal views and luxurious feel to every detail…this was a perfect stay.

This was my first time in DC and after doing research selected this hotel due to location. I had a great view and the room was spacious and clean. Parking was expensive which ended up being $65 per day x 3 days. Also prior to booking I was under the impression that I had already paid the “amenity” fee but they said that when I booked the hotel that is something separate for what they charge which would have been an additional $30 per night x 3 nights, asked if they could waive as a courtesy when I checked in and then again when I checked out and they said No. But noticing with other guest stays among the reviews they were able to accommodate and waive those fees. I really didn’t even use any of the amenities but it’s okay, maybe next time. I also went to the wharf spa and had an amazing experience ended up getting a mani and pedi hands down one of the best I ever had. I also ordered room service and the food was actually really good! Had drinks at the bar one night but forgot to use my credit so just paid out of pocket. Overall great experience and location tons of places to eat in the area. Highlight for me was Bistro Du Jour for breakfast and The Grill for dinner which is right around the corner, also a CVS next door which was super convenient.

This is a 5 star experience all the way! My husband and I travel frequently and this has been a memorable trip for sure. From the moment we pulled up to the second we checked out, every staff member has been top notch. The vallet staff are there to serve and do so with the upmost professionalism. When we entered, the front desk was quick to recognize the membership rewards due us and made us feel they were there to meet our every need. We also spoke to the concierge, who had the best recommendations. One of our very favorites was the USA Guided Tour at Dusk. He even arranged for us to be picked up at the hotel. Excellent room service and wonderful dining. Delivery of some items we picked up and we never ran out of coffee. This is an exceptional hotel at an extraordinary price! We loved it so much we extended our stay. Thank you for a great Anniversary celebration!
