Good and modern hotel near the old town of Salzburg. The location is perfect for exploring Salzburg and its Christmas market as it is only a 10minute walk to the centre. Rooms are small, but clean and modern. There is no fridge though. The view from the hotel is beautiful - Salzburg castle. Breakfast is very tasty - various choice: sweet, salty, good coffee. I think everyone can find something. Hotel is also dog friendly which as a dog owner I appreciate.

The hotel turned out to be better than expected. The room was not exceptionally large but spacious enough and clean. The staff was always smiling and courteous. Location was good too, under 10 minute walk from the old town.

10 minute walk to city center, easy parking, dog friendly with green space available for the pup's business. Nice view of the fortress. Affordable. Nice Bar.

First, we take full responsibility for not doing our due diligence prior to booking the Jufa in Salzburg. The check in process was extremely slow, there were no smiles on the front desk personnel, though that might be a cultural difference. The rooms were small and mostly clean. The shower/sink area was very small. NOTE, they do not provide any type of wash cloth for your shower, just hand and body towels. The bar staff was hit and miss. Some very friendly, fun to interact with and others more like the front desk personnel. The location was close to town, perhaps a 15 minute walk. This is a budget hotel and if that is what you are looking for, it’s not a bad choice. If you want nicer amenities and pleasant service I would look into other options.
