Worst lodging experience of our lives. Arrived at 9 pm to check in but was locked out of the building since you can’t check in after 8 pm? They don’t actually have a reception desk and it’s self check in. They act like a hotel but they’re a bnb. They claim to send check in instructions ahead of time. We never received a single email or text from them even though they said they texted me. We had to pay for a hotel, in Rome, at 10 pm with last minute notice and Baldassini wouldn’t refund us a single euro. We were able to check in the next day since they finally responded to us and it wasn’t even nice… breakfast voucher is bad, bed wasn’t made, mattress sheet had holes in it? Absolutely terrible excuse for a business. I can’t believe Capital One Travel contracts with these scammers as a hotel. It’s not a hotel!!

Breakfast vouchers were no good as they could not accommodate vegans, Gelateria Della Palma was rude and terrible service. Check in was harder and no one was there for service or help. Room 5 always smelled of food - from downstairs probably.

Very nice rooms, spacios and nicely decorated. Not an actual hotel, more like a boutique apartments. Difficulty in communicating with the hosts, tgey do not speak English. A lot of noise from the restaurants down stairs. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Stayed here with my wife in early Dec. Fantastic location right in the heart of the old town on the door step of the Pantheon! Plenty of local shops, restaurants and cash point close by, even a Spar. Rooms are basic but we had a fridge, kettle and toaster. Breakfast is okay, served in your room as there is no communal eating area. The owner is very nice and friendly and gives you a very warm welcome. For location and a basic B&B room this is perfect.
