La Flamenka is a hostel that I recommend to everyone, especially to the dynamic tourist who is looking for a comfortable and lively place to stay, feeling at home but without aiming for refined or sophisticated surroundings. It is located in the centre of Seville, on one of the main streets, on the first and second floors of a nice building, in two separate flats, far from the chaos and smog of the crowded streets. It has a very large terrace where it is pleasant to chill out on summer evenings, which offers an excellent view of the whole city. All the spaces are generous, you are never elbow to elbow, even when the hostel is fully booked. There are also some comfortable nooks that allow those who want to get away a little to be alone or with friends. A nice kitchen with a large table and many accessories invites you to stay a few more days. There are plenty of bathrooms in the two flats, with side-by-side cabins but also the normal type with full walls and door. The staff is very nice and friendly and the hostel is clean and tidy. The value for money is certainly good, as good are the prices of accommodation in Seville, I would say excellent if compared to metropolitan cities more popular with tourists. As for me, there are few hostels I choose to stay in, if I am not sure of finding a touristy, honest, comfortable and affordable environment I would rather go elsewhere or stay at home.

Great location to explore the main attractions. The staff are the asset to this place, everyone is friendly and likes to chat. The bedrooms are equipped with a locker, which is great. Bunk beds aren’t the best, they are wobbly and don’t have curtains nor a personal light or plug. The doors don’t close unless you lock them which is a bit inconvenient when you need to go to the toilet at night. The walls are super thin so you can hear and feel when people open and close their dorms’ door. The showers are ok, not very practical but it seems clean. But there is a great terrasse at the top to enjoy a drink and some good company. It would be nice if the hostel offered walking tours or some hostel events to help make friends.

one of the best hostels i've stayed at. it was cleaned regulary and the kitchen was fully equiped. for solo travellers its really easy to meet people, the atmosphere is unmatched rooftop and location are excellent would definitly return!

This place could not be more perfectly situated. The rooftop terrace is nothing short of a dream! Best rooftop bar in the city wouldn't reach this. The service is very friendly, they speak English well and the facilities are very clean, bright and welcoming. Although the bathrooms are shared by gender, they have nice cubicles for privacy which are sometimes lacking in other hostels. My only criticism is the bunk beds. Unfortunately, they are not very stable. They wiggle a lot and getting on the top bunk isn't nice because the entire bed frame swings. You don't sleep well because you constantly feel the other person move, or in my case, you're too scared to change your position because you don't want to wake the other person below (again). But other than that- I doubt you're gonna find a nicer budget option in Seville. I will return if given the chance. I will just request a bottom bunk next time.
