We stayed at the Ladear for two nights in a king room with pool access. I can’t help but feel disappointed. When we booked we were told there would be complimentary airport pick up, a complimentary cocktail on arrival and a complimentary 30 minute foot massage. We didn’t get a single one of these things. Apparently the airport has moved and they can no longer offer transfers but the website has still not been updated to reflect this. We therefore had to pay $35 for a taxi. If I’d have known in advance I would have booked one of the other accommodations who were offering this for free. The pool area was nice and the hotel is in a good location with a short walk into the town, but the rooms were tired. The pictures in the website gallery paint them in a much nicer light. The air conditioning didn’t get very cold. The safe in the room was unusable as it had previously been drilled open. The breakfast was very basic. The shower was tepid at best and quite discoloured. There was also quite a lot of road noise and loud music playing nearby at night. Overall, not worth it for the price considering it wasn’t cheap for Cambodia prices.

The hotel is located close to Pub Street, about a 10 minute walk away. There is a small but lovely pool, and the garden is well maintained. The accommodation is somewhat dated but clean and nice. I don't think you really need to add breakfast as an option - there's a big convenience store right around the corner and plenty of restaurants. And there are 3 cute cats living here! (They don't bother people and are pampered by the staff)

Staying four nights. Bed is very comfortable, room is quite spacious, needs a few modernization and more maintenance. Two pools. Breakfast is very simple, but ok. Staff is very kind and polite, however says yes to everything but nothing really happens. Wifi keeps falling out. Was promised to make tv work on the day of my arrival, but nothing has changed, tv does not work on the third day either. Spending 3+ nights, it is advertised to receive a 30 minutes foot massage. Which I didn’t receive, because I booked not directly but over an agency (payed even more). Disappointing. Overall it is fine, just needs some improvements and more clarity.

The hotel offers great value for money and is conveniently located just 5 minutes away from Pub Street and various restaurants. One notable feature is the presence of two pools – a shallow one and a deeper one in the backyard, which I find appealing. However, it's worth mentioning that the hotel lacks an elevator, so guests need to carry their belongings themselves or seek assistance from the hotel staff, especially if they have heavy items. Individuals with knee problems are advised to book a room on the ground floor. While the breakfast menu is satisfactory for short stays, including items like bread, toasts, sausages, eggs for Western preferences, and fried rice with veggies for those inclined towards Asian cuisine, the other menus at the hotel's restaurant are not recommended. It's suggested to explore dining options outside the hotel for better meals. Despite the absence of a satisfactory restaurant menu, the spacious rooms and good service contribute positively to the overall experience. Therefore, I have given the hotel a 4-star rating instead of 3.
