Firstly, the check in was easy and friendly, the place is cozy and although it's smallish, it has a lift to bring you up to your room floors. The rooms is small but our window views are fantastic, heater works and the toilet is adequate. The breakfast is not big a spread but it has enough to fill your stomach, dinning place about 6 groups of people to eat. The only thing I don't like was our walk from the train station to the hotel, the last 100 meters was up slope and I saw people struggling to go to the hotel with their luggage. Alternative is to use a taxi. Tips : Also you can go to the hotel first and borrow their trolley to bring your luggage from the train station, but it's a hard push up.

we had a short but sweet stay in Zermatt, we give credit to Norbert who was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond with making sure we were well looked after! Albeit it was raining during our stay in autumn, he made this an enjoyable stay with his wonderful cocktail skills and amazing storytelling. Norbert radiated positive energy that was contagious and felt by travellers coming in and out. We would definitely come back and recommend Hotel Petit to travellers broad and wide!

Great place to stay! Staff were friendly. The building was clearly quite old but had a lot of character. The rooms had a good amount of space and nice new bathrooms. Our room had a fantastic view, and we could see the Matterhorn even from our second story room. The best part by far though was the rooftop, which was always open and had a great view of the Matterhorn, surounding mountains, and the town.

If you wanna come Zermatt on winter season, be prepare for the following 1) you may not see matterhorn as too much fog 2) stay near the train station as all the road are too icy to push big luggage I planned to go Zermatt on my last day of tour. It's 29th Nov, pre-winter season The luck wasn't so good as its too much fog to see it. This hotel is way too far from train station especially so because it's constantly up slope. Towards the end, it have a ultimate slope that is so steep that one might fall easily. This hotel is also beside zermatt school. So if you like to wake up late and visit during non school holiday season, I'm sure the noise from the children will wake you up Breakfast is subjective. It's was meh to me. The only pro side of this hotel is it's roof. It's it's foggy, I can't see anything. But the following day, the sky is clear and I can see Matterhorn from the roof itself. I can consider myself mission accomplished
