During my extended stay in Venice, I needed an affordable option and stumbled upon Locanda Antico Fiore. Comparing it to my previous three-night stay at Hotel Rialto, which was three times more expensive, I was pleasantly surprised. Locanda Antico Fiore offered a much quieter and warmer atmosphere, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Its location was convenient, and the TV was noticeably larger. What truly stood out was the thoughtful addition of a kettle, allowing me to make tea and coffee, a convenience I lacked at Hotel Rialto. The value for money at Locanda Antico Fiore, especially considering the pricey Venetian setting, was impressive. One quirky detail was the presence of two showers—one in the bathroom and another in the room. Despite this, my overall experience was delightful. Locanda Antico Fiore provided a comfortable and cost-effective stay, making it a noteworthy choice in Venice.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel recently. The location, near the Academia and tucked away on a quiet dead-end road, provided a peaceful atmosphere away from the bustling crowds of Venice. However, it's worth mentioning that the rooms are located on the second floor, which meant climbing quite a few stairs in the traditional Venetian style. The breakfast served at the hotel was enjoyable, offering a good variety of options to start the day. The service was excellente. The rooms themselves were simple, yet they exuded a romantic ambiance that added to the overall charm of the place. If you're looking for a quaint and intimate stay in Venice, this hotel is worth considering.

Amazing location - less than one minute's walk from one of the Grand Canal vaporetto stops (San Angelo) and mercifully easy to find in a quiet end street. The staff let me talk their ears off every morning (i was travelling alone) There are just 7 rooms so its a peaceful residence. Breakfast was great - eggs, croissant, bread, cheese, butter, crackers, fruit juice, yoghurt, coffee. I had the attic room, note you cant really see out of the window and no good for tall people. Air conditioning was great, room gets freezing if you want it to! Entrance to hotel is ace as the water comes into the downstairs! Held back by a glass door, it's very Venetian.

Personally loved it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely fantastic as it’s not too close to the center but not too far either. It’s situated on one of the quieter streets of Venice. Nonetheless, at night, I recommend closing the windows (and starting the AC if needed) or you’ll have troubles sleeping due to the unexpected noises from outside plus the continuous splashing noise of the water downstairs.
