We had never been to Santiago so I tried to do my homework. I love architecture, especially older architecture, this place has great art deco style and a real feel of great design from the past, given it's name. Beautiful old tile and wood floors, wall moldings and skylights really grab your attention. I never use the elevators and in this hotel they have an old marble stairway you can take all the way to the rooftop patio, restaurant and pool area. The stairs wrap around an old metal cage elevator that works great as well, for the other guests : ) our room was in the 08 stack , 508 , it has a great view into the city life . Nothing extraordinary but good enough for me. Originally this hotel was the tallest building in Santiago, now it is dwarf by others. The bed was super comfortable, roof deck , great for cocktails, sunsets, splash in the " splash pool" not big but perfect size for a roof area. Breakfast was also very good, I got the breakfast included upgrade , it was worth not leaving the hotel. The location could not have been better. We walked everywhere within a few miles . Tons of restaurants all around, at night the Bellavistas neighborhood across the park comes alive with tons of restaurants and bars. I will definitely be returning to the Luciano again !

Wow wow what a gem. So cheap but the rooms are huge and clean and comfy! Truly a four star hotel. The roof terrace is awesome but the pool is tiny tiny so only good for a quick dip/ paddle. It could only fit 8 people standing. The breakfast was awesome with fresh omelettes and the best cake I ever had! The staff went above and beyond to store luggage and baggage after checkout and even help with translations and questions on food. A real authentic beautiful historic hotel!

A Santiago Sanctuary for Serenity and Smiles Forget cookie-cutter chains and soulless skyscrapers. Hotel Luciano K is a breath of fresh air in the heart of Santiago, a private boutique haven where charm whispers around every corner. It's more than just a place to lay your head, it's an experience that cocoons you in warmth and elegance. Imagine entering a time capsule of 1920s grandeur, where art deco details dance with contemporary comfort. The atmosphere is intimate, refined, and above all, calm. This was perfect for my senior mother, who found solace in the gentle pace and attentive staff. Speaking of staff, they deserve a standing ovation! From the receptionists, to the breakfast server who remembered her coffee order every morning, and the rooftop bar attendant who got us ice -- everyone, exuded genuine kindness and attentiveness. It may not have a grand rooftop pool or a sprawling fitness center, but it offers something far more precious: genuine hospitality and a sense of serenity.

Honest review. Have been in many hotels all over the world. Do really not understand the hype about this very mediocre hotel. Stayed there for 4 nights in a deluxe room. Arrived on 31 december and had pre-booked their New Year's eve dinner for 180 usd for 2!! Complete rip off with oily mushroom as starter, overcooked and dry pork as a main course and lukewarm watery so called Creme Catalan. Really complete disappointment and ruined our New Years eve. Room is nothing special. In the hotel and rooms there are some old style elements but nothing impressive. Dust on the grate above the sink was never removed. So be careful when brushing your teeth. It is disgusting. They refuse to offset the discount on food and drinks that you would get when you book through Expedia. There are really much beter options around.
