This is a weird hotel! When I arrived I got a room which is in the super old part of the hotel. So you need to take an elevator then go straight along a corridor take another elevator and end up in a complete different building. The room itself looks nicely renovated at first but the sink was broken and the bathroom door not replaced and full of stains. I complained and got another (much better) room in the main new building. The room was good but there also was an issue with cleanliness. Hairs on the bed and the sewage in the bathroom was somehow not properly installed I think. It stank. The room was located towards the street and is very nicely decorated and the bed is big. At night it was sometimes a big loud and cars can be heard quite clearly. The big upside of the hotel is the nice breakfast which is really good for a city hotel as well as the whole ground floor lounge area. All in all, I would not visit again. It looks shiny at first glance but it is lacking cleanliness and proper standard compared to other hotels even with less stars.

The most amazing breakfast. I was not expecting this at a 4 star hotel. It was absolutely incredible. Hot chocolate with marshmallows, fresh omelettes, salmon, smoothies, chia seed pudding, juice bar, vegan options, savory items, waffle bar, 20+ types of breads and baked goods, just so many choices. The only downside—my kids now think this is the standard for every breakfast on European vacations. Room was nice and clean and service personnel were professional and kind. Will return when in Helsinki.

Rooms are great. However, the breakfast was not relaxing, at it was quite noisy and waffle irons were constantly beeping. The waiters neither provide coffee nor omelettes. You have ti get everything yourself, not the 4 star hotel experience we expected.

Perfect location, very close to Stockman and other shopping and central station. We first got an uncleaned room, but they helped us well. The rooms are kind of dark looking and even though it was cleaned, it was a lot of dust inside, on shelves etc. Breakfast was great and the girl who checked in our bags in the back of the hotel, when we had a late flight home, was the nicest person on the entire trip to Helsinki!
