A very unique stay. I work downtown so it was perfect for what I needed - a 15 minute walk to the courts and a peaceful atmosphere. Definitely a bargain considering the room was large and the landscaping was fabulous and reception was really kind. The buildings are old Florida style so they’re not ‘sparkling clean’ and I would’ve loved a TV but was overall super pleased. And they have a resident cat, which was awesome.

Beautiful little oasis in the middle of a residential Miami neighborhood. Walking distance to downtown Miami and buses. The ambiance here is wonderful. A community of boarding houses nestled in big old palm trees with tropical plants and flowers all over the property. It evokes a feeling of Hemingway’s old world Florida. The staff was super friendly and cheery. The bar was gorgeous, a little However, the one thing I did not like was the uncleanness of the room. The room was actually huge, with a nice king-sized bed, shower with a tub, old wood floors and big windows. It could have been so lovely but the floors and surfaces had obviously not been cleaned in a while. The furniture was beat up and stained, the bed was kind of dirty and the pillows had a funk. Even after the staff came to clean in the morning, the floors were still dirty, surfaces still dusty, and a I saw the same dead spider in the corner the entire time. This is one area that they could and should definitely improve on. Aesthetically, this place is really great. But it could definitely use some TLC when it comes to cleanliness.

I feel like I hit the jackpot by finding this place. Initially, I was on the search for a hostel while I completed my scuba certification. I was able to find a private room here for a super reasonable price. Everyone I spoke to from Victor to Wesley to Fede — they were all outstanding, kind, and welcoming !! This is probably the nicest hostel-y place I have stayed at - although it is not exclusively a hostel, it very much has a hostel community feel. There is free yoga most days or mornings. I stayed in the pink house that also included a small library. I will most definitely be back in Miami. I have already recommended this place to many folks and will continue to return bc it was such pleasant experience. It is relatively quiet. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe and comfortable. The security felt good in the room and also the room felt so cute and clean. It was truly a 10/10 experience. Exceeded all expectations

If you’re looking for a spot with a ton of Miami character this is it! I stayed in one of the private king rooms. Victor at the front desk was extremely welcoming and helpful and upgraded me for free! The room was very simple, boutique-like, very cute. There are not many amenities in the room. I did not see a hairdryer, but had brought my own, and there is no television, but it was very colorful and very clean. The bed was comfy! The best part of the hotel is definitely the walking grounds. They have a beautiful space with a pool, a coworking space, a large courtyard and a bar and restaurant. They offer yoga classes every day. I was in town for business and after my meetings my plan was to go explore Miami, but I ended up staying at the hotel for dinner and not leaving! The restaurant is amazing, there are so many great spots to take pictures outside, and the food was very high-end. I had some of the best cocktails in my life and would definitely recommend getting the ceviche and the chicken empanadas! They did play music outside but they ended it at a reasonable hour and it wasn’t very loud from my room even through I was overlooking the courtyard. I would absolutely stay here again, and next time I will bring friends!
