Initially the room we booked was way too small for us but management was very helpful and upgraded us to a comfortable big room. What a creative and quirky place to stay! This MIMARU offers tons of board games and free soft drinks, and is located just across the street from a Lawsons' convenience store. Staff were amazing, especially this guy, John?? Who said he was from Vietnam. Wonderful, positive experience staying here with no complaints.

At the heart of Namba, there's so many shops to explore right from the hotel's doorstep. We stayed in a 2 bedroom Japanese apartment and loved the convenience of having a washer+dryer in the unit. Having 2 toilets also added comfort and convenience to our family of 5. The rooms are very clean and front desk staff speaks fluent English. While price may be on the high side, it's definitely recommended for those who wish to have a comfortable and luxurious stay.

Our family (Grandparents to grandchildren) stayed her for 8 days. The apartments were very good. We had 5 people in ours (3 adults and two teenagers). Plenty of space for a Japanese hotel, two bathroom areas, a basic kitchen and a washing machine/dryer. Service from the reception staff and cleaners etc was excellent. Lawsons across the road (and Macca's a short walk away!) made provision of meals easy. The only downside was the lack of a plug for the kitchen sink, which meant washing dishes in one of the larger kitchen utensils.

First off I must say that the staff at this hotel are amazing. They were so helpful and all the ones we interacted with spoke great English so it was so easy to communicate our needs. We needed transportation to the airport, and they booked transportation big enough for us with no issues. (Side note: If you do need transportation to the airport they prefer you to tell them ahead of time and not at the last minute on the day you need it) We got there early for check-in so they held our bags free of charge so we could wander around a bit and they did the same after check out, although there is a 500 yen fee for each bag you want them to hold after check out. We got a tatami room with 2 twin beds and 3 futons. The room was a good size, although a tight squeeze for 5 adult people. I would maybe get 2 rooms for that amount of people and luggage. The room was clean, but it did have kind of a musky smell when we turned the a/c on by the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped with plates, forks, and pans if you want to do some cooking, and there is also a microwave. Coin laundry is available and was very much appreciated. Overall a nice stay in a convenient area with tons of food and shopping options.

Only realized that it's in the midst of denden town when we checked in. Very convenient location especially if you are an anime/manga lover and near the market too! We stayed in the board games room. The room was spacious with a dining area but the closet area is a little small. Other than that, the room was clean and comfortable with well kept furnishings. Staff were all very friendly and there was an area at the lobby for guests to have some beverages and play games.
