Stayed here for 3 nights. I mistakenly booked 2 rooms instead of 1, on arrival they told.me if they sold the 2nd room I would get a full refund, they did sell the room for the 3 nights and I still haven't been given a refund and they are now not responding to my emails. Also the hotel is full of black mould, very toxic, I advised reception and nothing was done about it, my room stunk of mould and effected my sinuses very badly. My friends room also had a mould problem and they couldn't close the window and it was raining so that was fixed using packing tape which didn't last. A very dark and depressing hotel which is sad as if they spent some money on it, it could be quite nice

Lovely hotel in a great location and with good parking. We had a canal view room on the 2nd floor which was quiet but it did seem smaller than some of the other rooms we saw. The only negative was the high price we had to pay as it was a weekend in December.

The location is good, just a short walk to the center. The hotel staff is friendly. A major downside is the heat in the room. We turned off all the heaters and it was still too warm. We slept with the window open, but this caused the room door to bang. It resulted in very poor sleep quality. Furthermore, we only had cold water on the first day and morning. We reported this to the reception, and they said it was already known and that the owner would come by today. It's strange that it's known yet the next customers are literally left out in the cold. In short, we will not book here again and do not recommend it.

Boy, where to begin, this place was just what I needed for my trip around the coast. I picked this place randomly on Google and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. The concierge were nothing but the most splendid people, even pointing me to a nearby value store for a cheap fleece when the weather got chilly. I had an issue with plumbing in my room - by the time I popped out for a haircut, the leaking pipe was fixed. The breakfast is cozy and everything you could want, eggs, croissants, coffee and more. The best part of this place was the staff hands down, quick with advice, conversation, or serving up a late night gin and tonic. 10/10 would come here again and recommend to friends.

wonderful hotel with comfy beds and great breakfast! GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY! a lot of hotels is very expensive in the area… this one is so good and personnel is so kind and helpful always with a smile on their lips! Do not look any further, book this hotel! We stayed 3 girls in a 3 people room and it was space us with a nice view over the canal. Would definitely come back!
