The hotel is nice, modern and clean, location is great which is just few mins walk from JR stations. A pharamcy shop and many restaurant nearby. It's self check-in, but it seems a bit weird when there is staff in front of you, while you need to process check-in via yourself. The room size is reasonable compare to average hotel size in JP city. The view is nice as I'm staying in high floor, and the bathroom is big with a shower tub. Generally I like everything about this hotel and I will stay again if I'm going to Nagoya next time!

We have a very pleasant stay. The room is very spacious for a family of 3. Even the bathroom comes with a double sink. Location only 5 to 8 mins walk to Nagoya station. Highly recommended.

This is not a family friendly hotel at all. Firstly, check out is at an unheard of timing at 10am. The hotel staff hounded us by calling every 5 minutes at 10.05, 10.10, 10.15. We had to handle their incessant calling while getting our kids ready. When we got to the counter at 10.25am they insisted on charging us 2400 yen. This process took 15 minutes because the staff took a long time processing the fee that we were late to check out and we missed our Shinkansen train. This cost us an additional USD150 to purchase new train tickets. The hotel rooms were also very musty, the carpet smelled damp, and there was water in the room from condensation on the inside of the window. The rooms are very basic like a budget hotel. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience at Montblanc Hotel Raffine.

Location is great, just a few minutes walk from JR/subway station. Staff are very nice and helpful. Overall the hotel is new and nice. The double room has 18 square meters which seems larger than average in Japan. There are only 4 coins washer dryer in the laundry room, since the washing plus drying time is long, they are always occupied in the evening. Other guest may have to wait a bit longer or even after midnight. This is the hotel I would like to stay again.
