My stay here was great. The room was bigger than i expected, i could open 2 large size luggage easily. Staff was nice and polite, bed was comfy, shower was great. Family mart and lawson are on either side of the hotel. If i have to be nitpicky, the one thing is that the aircon is facing the bed straight on in my room. Overall, i thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Would definitely stay here again next time

Came for the Japanese grand prix. Overall a decent hotel but noticed a couple things to be improved : - can't open the room window > of course rooms are equiped with AC but it would be nice to have some fresh air from outside in the room - they don't come to change your towels, you need to bring it to the reception to get new ones. - the breakfast is quite terrible, definitely not worth your money. Food (like bacon or eggs) is almost cold and overall not very clean. Better find yourself a bakery or cafe for breaskfast.

Room was a little small - no room for a proper desk, but just a sort of bench along one side of the wall with a TV-tray-style thing attached. But I've certainly seen smaller. Everything looked very new and nice - no feeling at all of it being old, run-down, at all. Bathroom was nice; not one of those crummy unit baths, but a nice shower stall with rain showerhead and floor to ceiling glass partition. I didn't end up using the shareable workspace, didn't actually even look, but apparently on the 2nd floor there's a space with unlimited soft drinks, to just sit and work on your laptop, and have space there. Location was great, right in the heart of things, just a few blocks away from a very central subway hub (multiple lines run through Hisaya-odori). Price was a bit high, though. While I understand that US$78/night sounds rather reasonable to those wielding US$ or other global currencies, it was more than 11,000 yen, and that's about double (or even triple) what I have regularly paid for equal or better accommodations elsewhere in Japan. If it had been closer to 5000-8000 yen per night, I would be most definitely staying again.

Although this isn't a 5 star hotel, it's still a great place to stay on a budget. The location is perfect. Lots of convenience store in every corner. And only walking distance to practically so many stores. Hopefully someday you'd have some tokens or merch than we can purchase as a souvenir of the guests' stay. Thanks Travelodge Nagoya Sakae staff. God bless ☺️
