My experience at Monumental was great for the rate I paid. The building is beautiful, as is the pool area. It has seen its better days though. The hot tub was nice and hot and the pool was cold. The mattress was very bouncy and lacked support. My back was sore when I woke up. They offer hot cooked breakfast entrees. I did not eat there, so I can't rate the food. Staff is very friendly and housekeeping is unobtrusive.

The shower was ok, Dated. But the beds 🛌, well it was like sleeping on the ground. The carpet would have been softer. Rooms need a deep clean. *But for the price and location Still not worth it. Choose wisely

I recently had a disappointing experience with (Monumental Hotel Orlando)I accidentally booked a 5-night stay instead of 2 nights. Realizing my mistake just 5 minutes later, I immediately contacted the hotel to correct the reservation. Despite it being a week before check-in, the hotel refused to adjust my booking or offer a refund for the extra nights. Their response was surprisingly inflexible, especially considering the promptness of my correction request. I was particularly taken aback by the customer service's abrupt manner, as they quickly dismissed my concerns without proper consideration. It was frustrating to lose $520 due to what was clearly a small and quickly acknowledged error on my part. This experience left me feeling unfairly treated and disappointed in the hotel's customer service approach.(the most clear theft i ever witness in my life).

Was told rooms cleaned every 2 days. Went 4 days without cleaning. No towels. Called front desk for towels, told too bad. Carpet has stains, beds and furniture outdated. Note was left in room on check-in asking for tips.... unless you're cleaning the room everyday and it's left spotless, let alone the room barely ever getting cleaned. Nothing more annoying than coming back to the room after a long, hot day, wanting to shower and the room still being a mess, 4 days in a row. Charged a resort fee on check-in too. Wouldn't consider this a resort. Save your money, plenty of nicer looking places in the area for much cheaper

Beautiful on the outside but lacking quality on the inside. The bathtub never stopped leaking water, the toilet sometimes would not stop flushing until manually fixed. The pillows were flat which was fine but the biggest negative was that the air conditioner would not go below about 72 degrees. It did not feel like 72, it felt like 75 and all of Florida by the way kind of smells like pee sooo that is a thing. I'm probably being generous with 3 stars here but it was okay enough.
