Have to pay for parking separately? Why not just make the rooms more expensive. Also called ahead to the front desk to make sure the hot tub would be open during cold temperatures- was assured they would be. The next day they were down for "maintenance and also cold temperatures." Overall the rooms were okay and we were offered 2 complimentary glasses of wine to redeem at the in-house restaurant.

The location is so convenient that alone warrants 5 stars. The hot tub was monitored by a staff member ensuring those waiting didn’t have to wait for long which we appreciated. The room was updated and nice, although we had to walk throughout the hotel as if in a maze to access our suite since it didn’t have direct entry to the lobby or specific floors.

You can’t beat this location and staff! It’s such a nice hotel, in a phenomenal location where you can walk to anything and everything you’d need, with a staff that goes above and beyond to help you!! (A special shoutout to the two ladies that helped us check in and saved us a nights $$ because of an accidental double booking). The rooms are spacious enough and we’ve yet to hear any other guest. Also, we’ve yet to have an issue finding a parking spot. The “additional” parking is very close to the hotel. When we come back to Banff, we’ll be staying here again.
