It's perfect! It's next to a subway station, also next to Nijo-jo. Traditional Japanese rooms, we stayed in the room Villa. En-suite shower, washing machine and drying machine available with no additional costs. Beautiful design, and GREAT service - the owned did his best to ensure we are comfortable. Would and will return!

It's a decent hotel but too small for 4 people, but I like the traditional style. It's a 15-20min walk to the closest stations so unless you're okay spending money on buses get ready to walk a lot

The location is good and it's very clean. The building is somehow interesting. However, when we arrived late in the evening the heating was off, and despite putting it on we were freezing cold the entire night. Also the place is not really practical as you need to step outside to go from the room to the toilets, lounge and bathroom, all in 3 different adjacent places. It is clearly not convenient at night or when cold...
