Also don’t get all the bad reviews here. We booked it through a major booking website where reviews were much better than here and we decided to try our luck as we went for the marathon and not that many options were available. It is a very nice 4-star hotel with comfortable rooms and beds. All staff were very friendly and helpful. It is located next to a train station and if you take a bridge passage it is only a 3-5minutes walk. It is very well located considering that it is out of center. One stop from the Main train station, or just a few stops to Brandenburg Gates, etc. Breakfast has also a good selection of warm and cold food. As a tea lover, they have big mugs for it and good quality tea. Small thing but it is not that often to have the same in other 4-star hotels. Only two things, we booked it several months in advance and it was listed that it has a Gym and Spa, but seems it is not working anymore, and it has been removed from the website. Also, when we arrived we had only one set of towels but it was fixed in no time. Thank you for the warm welcome and nice stay during our most important event of the year! See you next time!

honestly don’t really understand all the bad reviews. our room was spacious and clean, the fridge worked, the shower was also good. the only thing that wasn’t amazing was the fact that there’s always just one person at the reception which makes the process of checking in a bit slow. but they were always friendly and helpful to us. in general i really recommend the hotel, the train station is also really near and you can get to the main train station in only a few minutes. the price is also really good.

Booked two rooms here, the pictures looked nice and they had a gym onsite which was a big reason why I picked this hotel. Very disappointed that when we arrived the receptionist told us that the gym or spa was closed and had not been open for a while. I emailed about this and I got a response saying it is because of holidays. However it does not feel like it was closed for a holiday 1-2 weeks. Overall rooms are OK, but as I booked this to use the gym facilities and they were falsely advertised as being open when they were not they get 1-star.

Location convenient to transit but that's the only plus to this location. Rooms are horribly small. The staff was also very rude and short tempered, a male worker was screaming at someone on the phone while others were waiting to be checked in. The dark haired woman there as well was rude. They say it's a kitchenette but that means there's a sink in the room and that's it, they charge money for utensils and a microwave so why call it a kitchenette?

The hotel and amenities are great (clean, spacious, right next to public transportation, etc.), but the the staff is absolutely AMAZING! Cannot recommended highly enough. We had a problem with our check-in dates due to a mix up with the booking agent (Agoda), and from the second the problem occurred, the staff was 100% committed to helping us out, especially given how late it was. Agoda, on the other hand, continued to make our lives hell. The lovely woman at the front desk (Linette, I believe) and the hotel manager, whose name I am going to butcher (Türley, if I remember correctly), literally spent hours trying to argue with Agoda on our behalf. Truly customer service like I’ve never experienced. Saved our trip. Again, can’t recommend highly enough.
