The rooms are very much like the rooms in a well maintained old Berlin apartment building. The reception is not 24/7, so plan your trip accordingly. Friendly staff is a plus!

On the picture they show a bath tub and then they said they have not at all and I booked a 1 queen bed room and there was 2 tiny bed put together that not allows to sleep in the middle at all. So wasn’t at all what I expect for 88€ per night. However the staff was incredible helpful and nice, they were definitely the highlight of the place. The property should be happy to have the staff they have.

You need to specify when you're booking if you want a single large bed or two small ones. Even if the photos show a queen size bed and a decently sized bathroom, we ended up with two small beds on wheels that had to be pushed together to make a single one, and a very small bathroom.. Shower pressure is great, and the bathroom had great sound isolation, but a shower curtain rather than a shower door means you'll find it hard not to end up with water all over the floor. At least the location is good (right next to a tram stop) and the staff were nice. For what you're paying, the issues with the rooms aren't necessarily a deal breaker if you're on a tight budget.

We came in couple for a 5 nights stay in Berlin in November 22. Rooms are well decorated and comfortables. It is so nice to be able to join Alexanderplatz in barely 5 minutes of Tram. Staff is very helpful and welcoming (+ English speaking), cleaning services are good and breakfast is generous and decayed. Prices are really reasonable in comparison with other hotels, for our stay, prices were even lower than *b*s Budget for a better quality of service, and breakfast included ! The fact that the hotel is located in the courtyard of a busy street makes it really quiet but close to any services (trams, restaurants, essential shops) (We only encountered one problem, AC in our bathroom was noisy) We clearly know where to stay if we come back one day !
