Went by car, and was assigned a small parking spot. Greeted and checked inn by a very nice man. The room was a little dirty, especially under the beds. Simply furnished and simple bath. No accestories(water boiler fridge etc) not even a safe. The beds were to hard for our liking, and made loads of anoying squeeky noises. No ventilation or aircondtioning forcing us to keep the window open at night. The window pointed towards a street with heavy traffic. Breakfast was fine. The dining hall was very simple, and had no chairs, but stools made lf hard wood.

the location is great, the breakfast doesn't have a lot of verity but has what you need. we had some mini cockroaches in our room and they switched our room quickly.

Great hotel if you have tickets for an event at the Max Schmeling Halle (concert venue). It will take you less than 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the venue. The hotel offers standard rooms with surprisingly spacious bathrooms (compared to youth hostels). The rooms are clean and quiet. What is missing though is an aircondition. The hotel is located in a hectic street, there's a tram stopping every few minutes til late in the evening. So unless you don't care about street noise, it is very difficult to fall asleep on a hot summer night with the windows closed. The staff is very kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet is good. Do not expect a miracle, but unless you are very picky, you will not leave hungry 😁.

Friendly staff, but hotel standard was absolutely bad. Stayed in this hotel for 4 weeks and never experienced worst hotel in my entire life and been travelling always whole world! Dirty room, dust everywhere, blocked shower and leaking toilet. Had to remove trash by myself and housekeeping manager- instead of being nice, was absolutely rude and didn’t feel like is being something sorted. Definitely never come back to this low standard hotel.

Cute place with friendly staff and comfortable beds. The breakfast in the morning is good and the rooms are spacious and thoroughly cleaned each day. I appreciate the fridge of beer and wine :) My only complaint is the fact that the street noise is very loud if you have a room facing the main road. You can always hear the cars, train people, talking, and the sirens are annoyingly loud.
