Absolutely wonderful - MADE by amazing staff. We had a lovely time here. The location is very central and the hotel has a lovely boutique feel. The rooms are beautiful. What’s really special about this hotel is the decor. It’s so stylish and welcoming with plants everywhere. They have a lovely sky bar with views of the royal palace and our room overlooked the lush pool. 2 for 1 cocktails 3-5pm and absolutely delicious food with a mix of local, Japanese, Chinese and western food. The staff can not do enough to help and made our stay extra special

I live in Phnom Penh, and have gone to stay at Palace Gate twice. Both times I have had an amazing stay. The rooms are large and comfortable, with huge bathrooms and a luxurious shower. The pool is beautiful and so relaxing. There are so many plants that the air always has a fresh feel. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. There so many western and asian breakfast foods to choose from. The staff are so sweet and help with anything that you need. Phnom Penh has very little green spaces and lots of dust and pollution, so Palace Gate is a wonderful place to come relax. I highly recommend this place!

What a delightful hotel! The hotel is beautiful: it is very well presented, and gloriously decorated with pictures, wood carvings, statues, etc. and so many plants and bushes. There is running water and fountains and you really feel you are in a lush garden. The main restaurant is in an old French colonial house, and again, is delightful. There is an excellent, quite large pool with plenty of recliners with lots of shade or sun depending on your desire. We had a super room, large, very well presented and kept immaculate by our maid. The breakfasts were really excellent: such a wide range of buffet choices from Western to Eastern delights. I really loved the breakfasts here. We also had an evening meal here, choosing from the Khmer menu - there's also a Western menu. The servings were quite large and really well cooked. And finally, the staff were really superb. So friendly, gentle and extremely helpful. This really is a special place and we look forward to returning for a couple of days after our trip around the coast. Thank you team Palace Gate!

The palace gate hotel is a great hotel in a very central location. Situated in lush greenery and with a touch of colonial architecture, it is not only beautiful from the outside but the rooms are elegant and spacious as well. Lastly, the breakfast is simply amazing! But despite all that it isnt flawless. Firstly, we had to complain repeatedly about our toilet smelling of urine. Initially they just put a scented candle in our room to cover the smell. Only the second time, they managed to fix it. And secondly, the lady at the reception pressured us to do a review before checkout which we felt was rude.
