Palazzetto Madonna Hotel in Venice offers a central location in the heart of the city, but unfortunately, my recent stay left much to be desired. The small rooms felt cramped, especially considering the ample space available within the hotel. The interior decor, particularly in my room, was overwhelming with its excessive use of red, which could be tiring on the eyes. One major inconvenience was the lack of extra outlets for charging electronic devices. As a result, I had to unplug a light or another appliance just to charge my cellphone, which was frustrating. Additionally, on a cold night, the heater was set to cool instead of providing warmth, further adding to the discomfort. While the front desk check-in process was efficient and professional, the cleanliness of the room did not meet my standards. Furthermore, I found it concerning that the hallway lights were turned off at night, making it difficult to navigate the hotel safely. This lack of visibility could pose a serious problem in the event of an emergency, as it would be challenging to find a way out in the dark. Ultimately, my overall experience at Palazzetto Madonna Hotel was disappointing, and I would only be able to give it a two-star rating. While the hotel's location is convenient, the issues with room size, decor, amenities, and safety precautions detracted significantly from the enjoyment of my stay. I hope these concerns are addressed to improve the experience for future guests. Update: Despite the disappointments during my stay at Palazzetto Madonna Hotel in Venice, I must commend the hotel for the excellent breakfast service. The morning meal was a highlight of my stay, with a great selection of food and beverages. The kitchen workers provided pleasant and attentive service, which made for a positive start to the day. The quality of the breakfast and the friendly staff certainly contributed to a better overall experience. However, it's important to note that while the breakfast and service were commendable, other aspects of the hotel's accommodations and safety measures still left much to be desired.
