Hotel facilities are clean and lovely, with staff always willing to help with a smile. Food is great and good value for money. The location is fantastic; just a stroll to the Vaporeto stops, the main train station and buses. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

I had the most incredible experience at Hotel Papadopoli Venezia and I'm thrilled to share my thoughts. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel like a valued guest. The hotel's decor is a perfect blend of classic Venetian style and modern luxury. It's evident that attention to detail is a top priority here – from the lobby to the rooms, everything is impeccably designed. Speaking of rooms, mine was not only comfortable but also surprisingly spacious. Waking up to the view of the Grand Canal was a dream come true. The location couldn't be better, with major attractions within easy reach. What truly impressed me was the dining experience. The room service was not only convenient but also an exploration of exquisite flavors. Each dish was a masterpiece, a testament to the chef's skill and dedication. In terms of safety, the hotel has done a fantastic job. They've implemented strict health measures without compromising on the quality of service. All in all, my stay at Hotel Papadopoli Venezia was an unforgettable journey into luxury and comfort. If you're looking for a place to create lasting memories in Venice, this is it. I'm already excited for my next visit!

One of, or possibly my best ever, Accor Hotel. The location is very convenient within a short walk from the main train station with water taxis right outside the main hotel entrance to take you wherever you wish. Walking into the hotel is like stepoimg into an elegant oasis with the friendliest most polite staff, all impeccably dressed. The decor is beautiful and elegant with a gorgeous indoor outdoor dining restaurant area, which makes you feel you are in the garden. The hotel rooms are beautifully decorated with attention to detail. Cool and incredibly quiet. The beds and pillows are excellent, I felt like I had sunk into a cloud. Waking up and looking out over the canal was incredible with windows all around, plus I had a balcony, which was a real treat in Venice. The housekeeping staff were amazing, so friendly and polite, the hotel and my room impeccably clean at all times, and I appreciated the attention to detail. Food was lovely, although I only had the breakfasts which were fantastic, but I am sure the rest would be too! Definitely will be back again. It's one of my favourite hotels!

A THREE STAR HOTEL CHARGING FIVE STAR PRICES. This tired hotel is in need of serious refurbishing. The last century heavy brocade decor matches the hotel’s facade which is badly in need of a serious clean. Other reviewers laud the location as being close to the station, which is it: it also means that there is a constant noisy crowd passing by the hotel so be careful to book a room looking out on to the garden at the back. The breakfast buffet is truly mediocre, the sort you would expect to get in a Bed and breakfast! The service is inconsistent: Beatrice at the Reception is amazing, some of her colleagues are so unpleasant that you wonder whether they are paid to give visitors a sense of local culture!
