Nice, clean room, pleasant staff, everyone says hello, or bonjour! Meals, breakfast well done, rooms have a mini bar, didn't try the pool but it looks inviting. If only they had a kettle to make an evening coffee.

- Very long queue at check in. - Did not give us the type of room we specified. - very uncomfortable mattress. Can hear the road from the room, the windows let in a lot of noise. Can hear people in other rooms. Dated rooms. Nice pool and sauna. Gym is quite small. Good wifi quality. Friendly staff.

Parc Hotel Alvisse is a big hotel with lots of activities to have fun such as indoor pool, sauna etc. The location is great and you have bus station just in front of the hotel to reach city center easily and for free. Only negative comment from my side would be bed and pillows. Beds are very soft.

I give it 2 stars because it has free parking and a nice breakfast. Apart from that it's full of problems: First of all the shower head is fixed to the wall... I mean... ??? When there is a fixed shower head you should always have a second moving one! Secondly, the room climate is the worst! We tried the AC both on and off, and it was just unbearable, we couldn't breathe! During breakfast the entire hotel was coughing, I don't think that's a coincidence... I had to use nasal spray in the middle of the night just to be able to continue sleeping! Also the mattress is abysmally bad, you can only sleep in the center, otherwise you slip to either side, so you can barely move during sleep without fear of falling. The pillow was so thin, I'd probably sleep better without it. Finally the window was malfunctioning, meaning that when I tried to open it normally (i.e. bring the handle to the horizontal position) it went into recline and opened at the same time so it almost dropped on me! I had to open the handle at about 75 degrees so that it didn't go into the recline mode. Oh and not to forget that we could hear the kids on the room above like we had them inside our room. And the cleaning staff opened our door without knocking, at 10am even though we were leaving the same day, so the reception probably hadn't informed them that we were checking out at 12. The receptionist was polite, and the bartender also.

Unfortunately I think I only have 2 good thing's to say a about it: the free car parking and the sympathy from the reception. But... We arrive at check-in time, and we wait more than 10min in a huge line. On the way to the room, the walway smells like wed or cigarettes. Inside of the room, a strange smell of humidity, the door of the bathroom is transparent, the toilet was dirty with yellow marks on the top. It's 3 degrees outside and the room don't have a extra blanket. Only 1 extra pillow. Pillow's and bed are to much soft. 80€ block at the credit card for mini bar. No coffee/tea at the room. Only one mini bottle of water. The indoor pool: they have a paper saying that the water is at temperature 28°. That's is impossible. We can go inside of the water because of the cold, and a lot of people are complaying about it.Only sauna was nice. At the website they say that they have some activities like bowling. Not true. Isn't working till next year. Breakfast 20€ p/person, really?! Not really a hotel for 4*.
