It's a relatively well maintained establishment. The rooms are good and spacious for a city type hotel. The location is good, right in the middle of old city and near several highly rated restaurants and museums. It has the M Lounge if you're a higher tiered Marriott member. Has a big fitness center with relatively complete equipments for a hotel. Has a Starbucks in the lobby. Has a restaurant and bar too. We initially got a room with broken thermostat but the staff immediately changed our room to an even better one, so kudos. I think there were some reviews that mentioned a pool, that's inaccurate, there is no pool nor hot tub here. Overall I was quite satisfied with my stay.

My wife and I stayed here on NYE and can't say enough good things. We had such a fantastic time, and this hotel really helped enhance our experience. The rooms are modern industrial style to match the rest of the hotel, and we found ours to be very comfortable. Our stay was quiet and without any noise or disruptions despite it being NYE. The atrium of the hotel is open to the higher floors and features a bar/restaurant and coffee shop, which we didn't get a chance to check out this time but will most likely be back. The location of the hotel is perfect - we had plenty to see and enjoy within just a few blocks. Overall, a great stay and one that we'll have as a great memory forever.

We stayed at the Philadelphia Marriott Old City over NYE within a friend’s wedding block and had a wonderful stay. The staff was incredibly courteous and professional, and we got the check into our room early when we arrived in the morning. Check out was also notably late (noon) which felt very luxurious. Best of all, the hotel is within walking distance to the major downtown historic sites so this ended up being a perfect spot for our quick stay!

We stayed at the Philadelphia Marriott Old City for our wedding weekend and it was great from start to finish! The staff was kind and helpful and were quick to respond to any questions or issues during our planning process. There were multiple weddings staying there that weekend so it created a fun, lively energy throughout the hotel. It was fun socializing with our guests throughout the weekend at the bar in the large lobby. Our suites were spacious and a good size for the bridal parties to get ready in. We also had a casual farewell breakfast the morning after the wedding in the Nicholas Moore room. Highly recommend booking a block of rooms here for you and your guests if you're getting married in Philly!
