Returned to this hotel after almost 8 years. It was super good. The hotel was celebrating its anniversary and I was loaded with welcome gifts. It was so pleasing. Rooms are big, staff is gracious and welcoming . Felt like home coming :)

Very nice place, the lobby is awesome, the room is big and comfortable. Very good coffee and breakfast. But take a look at the bathroom pictures... it seems that they completely forgot about it... When you enter it, you enter a 2-3 stars hotel...

As a returning customer who hadn't visited Phoenicia Hotel for quite some time, I recently had the opportunity to book a stay during this summer. The price I got was reasonable, and I was delighted with the level of customer service provided during my stay. However, I must admit that the cleanliness of the rooms was a bit of an issue. The hotel is in need of urgent renovations, especially for the rooms. The carpets were visibly worn off and dirty, and I even encountered an insect in my room. Despite these concerns, I still have a soft spot for Phoenicia Hotel and will consider returning if I visit Romania again. I hope that the management addresses the room conditions soon to maintain the charm and quality of the hotel.
