I stayed here for three nights in December and had a great time. The hotel is located in the business district of Bucharest. The city center of Bucharest is about a 15 minute ride on the underground which cost around €0,65 one way. The service was okay. The one thing I came across while checking in is that my passport was ripped out of my hands. That could’ve be done a bit more professional.

My first time at Marriott, my first impression, well: great! The check in fast, helpful, met all my requests and expectations, the room very clean, welcoming, quiet, modern, many amenities. 5 min walking distance from Promenada Mall and Aurel Vlaicu metro station. One mention 50 ron/day parking, kind of expensive when you have less than 50% hotel occupied. Also true you can't find alternative parking nearby...

Strategically well placed next to our European HQ, this is our default hotel. But it's also very good! The room was very clean. Lots of power outlets. Good TV screen. The desk is a bit small if you bring not just a laptop. Foam cushion ordered as an extra - recommended. Blind fully functional, making the room pitch black and quiet at night. Good restaurant with a very decent breakfast. Staff friendly , very attentive, and fluent in English. The minibar is empty and can be filled on demand with vending machines on the ground floor. A can of Coke is approx. €2, so, very fair prices. Snacks are also available. Will come here again any time. Very nice (of course, modern, not romantic, no nice views, but we were on business!) hotel.
