Neat hotel with a fresh design in the rooms. Staff is hard working, friendly(both reception and bar), is always ready to help, but also jumps in proactively to make sure the guest feels comfortable. Main con: price is acceptable, room si not very large but you can live comfy for a few days. Main pro: friendly and helpful staff(Special thanks to Cristi and Daniela from the restaurant, these guys went the extra mile to make us enjoy our stay, keep it up and you’ll reach great lengths)

Despite arriving in the early hours of the morning the welcome from the reception staff was great and fortunately the check in process seamless and quick. My room was on the sixth floor overlooking the main road outside, which was quiet until the trams started in the morning. The room was an odd shape and was spacious, although the industrial decor and vibe might not be to everyone’s liking. The bed was large and comfortable with electric sockets and lighting controls on the bedside units, although the air-conditioning was a little slow to kick in and become effective. It was a shame that the mini bar fridge was empty but there was a coffee machine and bottle of filtered water. The bathroom was equally as spacious with plenty of storage space and a large walk in shower. It was a shame the doors caused it to leak over the floor but otherwise it was a good space with decent toiletries provided. My room was located opposite the house keeping cupboard, so it was a little noisy in the morning, but otherwise the whole space was fine for a short no-fuss stay. Breakfast was decent enough with a small buffet and good selection of pastries. In an evening the space converts into the restaurant which had a good atmosphere and the staff at the bar were friendly. There is a small terrace outside the front of the hotel which is great to unwind on at the end of the day, despite being on the very busy main road. Overall it was a fine place for a couple of nights and if I needed to be in that part of the city in the future I’d certainly consider staying again.

I recently stayed at the Ibis Styles Bucharest Erbas, and while it’s located a bit far from downtown, the convenient connection via metro M2 line made it easy to explore the city. Situated in the heart of the business district, it’s ideal for those with meetings or business in the area, especially with many IT companies around. The hotel offers the typical standard of rooms you’d expect from the Ibis network, providing a comfortable and clean environment for a good night’s sleep. What stood out for me was the hotel’s restaurant, where I had the pleasure of meeting the talented barman, Stephan. He crafted some fantastic cocktails and provided excellent service, making my dining experience quite memorable. In summary, the Ibis Styles Bucharest Erbas is a convenient choice for business travelers, offering standard Ibis accommodations and a noteworthy dining experience thanks to Stephan’s expertise at the bar.
