I stayed here at Pullman Riga for 3 nights, if it was a 3 star hotel I’d happily give it a 10/10 rating but when you advertise it as a 5 star hotel this just doesn’t meet the expectations. Before the trip i double checked with the hotel if there is toothpaste included in the room, they confirmed there is in all rooms. There was not… So we had to walk to a shop a kilometer away just past bed time. I also immidiately realized there was a lot of dust on the surfaces in the room, dirty curtains and a weird layout where the sink is not in the toilet. First morning when we were going to make some coffee the coffee machine started leaking boiling water out on the table and floor, not to mention it didn’t even make the coffee. I reported this to the hotel and they said they’d fix it, three days later it’s still not fixed, maybe it’s a way to get you to book the 25€ / person breakfast to get your coffee but nevertheless not up to standards. The shower also leaks water out into the hotel room itself and no squeegee is included so you have to use your towel to dry the floor, 45 minutes after every shower water starts flooding from the shower head (happened to us every time, every day) There was some questionable plumbing done so probably the reason why. Also super inconvenient if you’re moving by car or taxi since only a select few cars with special permission are allowed on the street outside (understandable as it’s besides the presidential palace but good to know) That being said, you’ll do just fine walking on foot through the city as the hotel is locate right in the middle of the old town. The staff was nice and room otherwise looked fresh. The ”spa” I can’t really complain about as it’s included in the room price but there is a narrow swimming pool for one person and a sauna, no hot tub or bubble pool. There is a gym with all the necessities, which is nice. Overall a good experience but nowhere near the standards of a 5 star hotel, maybe we were just unlucky but other reviews seem to share the same opinion.

The staff was wonderful, kind and super helpful. The hotel looked amazing, I had a cozy feeling and the experience was amazing. The pool and sauna were free of charge and also the gym was included. The food at the hotel was the best I have had in a long time. And the best part is - its located in Riga Old town, everything is near.

Fantastic stay at Pullman in Riga Old Town. Superb location for exploring the city Old Town. Rooms were a good size & clean. Towels, bath robes & slippers provided. Beds were very comfortable. Well stocked bar with very friendly staff. The mojitos were excellent. Bar seating area also had a lovely atmosphere, tucked away behind the bar under the arches. Staff were very helpful and provided lots of recommendations for food, drinks & music over the New Year period. The New Years gift of traditional Balsam for each room was a lovely touch also. Everything you want & need for a short city break. Would stay here again.

My first visit to Latvia and sampling Latvian hospitality was 4 nights in this awesome hotel. I'm no stranger to hotels as I am a Dubai resident and this hotel ranks up there with the best, in my opinion. As I was there to celebrate a family wedding in a good sized group, we were likely a test of speed and quality of service, (mainly at the bar!) and the staff were friendly and speedy even when super busy and passed the test with flying colours. Well done to all the bar staff. 👌 The reception staff were without exception exemplary with a smile and speedy helpful service day and night. English speaking and understanding was first class by all staff, again that's amazing. I want to single out a truly amazing Breakfast buffet. The selection catered for all tastes and I was so happy to find a selection of Vegan and gluten free goodies. I have some other comments on the food (not negative) I'd rather share privately, so I hope the hotel will send me a suitable email address should they choose to reply to this review. Thoroughly recommended. Labi paveikts ( I hope that's right translation !)
