I cannot believe that this is the first time I stayed here despite popping by to Oslo so many times over the years. The hotel is conveniently located in the centre of town, near a tram stop, a short walk to the train station and best of all, the bus to the airport is just right out in front. I absolutely do not have to lug my suitcase over sidewalks and cobbled streets to walk to the train station. The room is nice and airy. I love the huge wall to wall windows as it gives so much natural light along with a great view of the city. The sheets and linen were crisp and clean. Checking in was a pleasant experience as the team at the front desk were helpful, cheery and patient. My only comment is that I had booked for a room with a queen size bed but got a room with 2 single beds instead. Apparently, the hotel was full for the weekend and that was the only room available. Not sure I bought that but after a 17 hour flight, I was not in a mood to argue further. As soon as I unpacked, I headed to the bar on the 21st floor to unwind. I also explored the hotel and saw that the gym and pool facilities were available too. The buffet breakfast was a nice event, something I look forward to each jet lagged morning. The food was very good and I am glad they started serving at 6.30am each weekday. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and look forward to checking out the other Radisson near Oslo S when I return next year.

Lovely twin room for me and my daughter. Clean and tidy with all we needed except milk for tea/coffee. Break fast buffet was fabulous!!!! The kids loved it and there was so much choice. Would recommend.

Outstanding professional front desk team. They were gracious and accommodating at our early check in. Well appointed rooms. Beautiful decor in the lobby. Decent food & beverage. We will be back to this centrally located hotel in Oslo next summer.

We stayed in plenty of hotels around the globe and I never left a negative review, but this was hands on one of the most overrated places we stayed in. We booked a Premium King room, the bed granted was good and comfortable, but the bathroom is 2x2 metres, where you literally have a toilet in the shower. When asked if we can upgrade the room (happy to pay of course) we were told that even the Junior Suites have the same bathroom…. We stayed for two nights and the bed was made as per photo - my husband does the bed better… The staff are not trained, our waiter at the dinner service told us that he’s been here for less than 3 days that’s why he didn’t know what a started and a main was, completely confused out order, told us they didn’t have anything we wanted until an older gentleman came and tried to fix it and suddenly they had everything we ordered. The reception staff is frowning and generally the feel is like you’re not welcome, we were told to take the suitcases to the luggage store ourselves and put labels on them ourselves while the receptionist was looking…. Unheard of, genuinely. The rooms are dusty, the bathroom especially and you can also hear all your neighbours… the lobby is dirty (the doors are terrible) l, carpets all over the buildings are not cleaned and in general it is very outdated and tired. The positive thing is the location however as the bus to the airport goes literally from reception. And the view is a good otherwise I’d be 1 star.

I have never wrote a review while staying in a hotel for a work trip…. In 2 years, several counties, and 50+ hotels this hotel has by far the WORST SERVICE I have ever experienced. There were a couple exceptions where 2 employees showed normal curtesy found in hotel customer service. It t is very clear that this a problem that starts at the top with management. I hope corporate level can come in and turn their team around. It’s a shame to come to such a beautiful place (hotel included is very nice) and be treated so poorly. The front desk, and restaurant staff are the rudest I’ve ever seen. I watched other guests experience the same treatment. I would never stay here again!! Also to whoever replies to these reviews - don’t bother replying to mine… I read other reviews here and I think you have enough data to go back to corporate and fix your problems …. No one cares about your excuses. Just do better ;)
