This is a gem of a hotel. The rooms are cozy and nicely updated, comfortable and quiet. The staff is warm and welcoming. The hotel is the perfect location. About 10 minutes from some of the most popular attractions and also an easy walk from Tremini Station. This was the summer vacation trip for my daughter and I. We choose a room with a large, lovely terrace where we had tea and breakfast every morning. We absolutely enjoyed this hotel. I cant wait to return.

1. 5mins walk from Line B-Cavour Station, exit via Rebibbia/Jonio 2. Easy to spot 3. Receptionists are extremely attentive and polite! 4. Smooth check in and check out process 5. Room is spacious,clean and neat.

Incredibly unprofessional and disappointing stay. We had 12 family members staying at this hotel between 6 rooms. Two of these rooms had issues which we were repeatedly told they had resolved when they had not. They relocated one group who had an 18 month old child however the room was quickly occupied again with new guests who were told the room had no issues. We were promised refunds by the manager for the rooms with issues however on check out we were told this would need to be dealt with over email with the manager. When we emailed them for the promised refund we were told management had changed and they could not verify the promise that had been made. Throughout our experience, the staff were rude, dismissive and deceitful. Absolutely not worth the high price.

The aircon in both our room where we had our toddler and my other family’s room stopped working. It was incredibly hot in our rooms so we asked to move. They said they had nothing available but we looked online and saw there was a room. The same day we moved out they quickly got some more guests in, after they realized the aircon was broken the staff said “the previous guests hadn’t mentioned anything.” Very disappointing at how unprofessional the staff are and constantly being liars about the whole situation.

Very disappointed with our stay at Hotel relais monti. Our room had issues with the air conditioning while there was 30 degree heat in Rome. We had the technician visit at least three times, claiming it had been fixed and to “give it time”. Finally on our last night the manager was in our room until midnight trying to have this fixed to no avail. Even the request of a fan fell flat and that would have been better than cooking in a sauna all night. Because of this the manager offered us a refund for a night in the room and to email them afterwards to receive this. A kind gesture however upon following up the manager mentioned that the manager who made the promise had now left (less than a month later). The new manager Luigi claims that the old manager never made this promise or passed on the information. Be careful of the deceitfulness at this hotel.
