We enjoyed three nights at Residenza Ducato in January. We booked two apartments, one for my wife and I, and one for my wife’s parents. The rooms were very spacious with large living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms. There is also a nice kitchenette available. We did not cook, but the kitchenette was suitable for preparing a modest meal. The apartment is located in a nice area about five minutes from St. Mark’s Basilica and a couple of minutes from the Rialto Bridge. Paolo provided good communication in advance of our arrival and was available anytime we had questions. She was also helpful in arranging water taxis to and from the train station. We would definitely return to Residenza Ducato.

I cannot stress enough how excellent this hotel is. The location is a bit tricky to find initially but is fantastic, a (leisurely) 5-7 min walk to San Marco and 10 to Rialto bridge. The rooms are extremely spacious, well appointed and comfortable. They are also very quiet and cool (we came in summer). In addition to this, the customer service is fabulous. I was in touch as our arrival would be late at night, and Paola offered to arrange a water taxi which went seamlessly. She also spontaneously left croissants at our door a couple mornings while we were there, which was a great treat to wake up to. Lastly, while the rooms are apartment style, you have full room cleaning every day which is nice. Absolutely I would stay here again and I think the value from this hotel greatly exceeds that of similar ones at the same price point.

Luxurious place in the heart of Venezia. Elegant rooms and a beautifully renovated building with high-quality materials (stone and marble). Very quiet. Made our stay extremely enjoyable, especially with the super friendly staff who recommended us great places for cicchetti and dinner.
